How to Eliminate Humidity in the Bathroom by Applying the Nano Coat System Active Substance

The regular use of bathrooms is accompanied by excessively high humidity. This manifests itself in the condensation of water vapours on the mirror, walls, cabinets and other parts of the bathroom. Optimal humidity in these rooms is around 40% to 50%. While having bath, it sometimes increases to 100%, while the conditions for the appearance of moulds, which are the source of dangerous mycotoxins, become ideal already above 60%. Moulds release spores into the air, which cause skin eczemas, various forms of allergies or severe chronic diseases. It is equally important to maintain a pleasant warmth in the bathroom, not only for comfort but also for health reasons. The hotter the air in the room, the more humidity it can absorb.

Tackle both these problems with a single preventive solution. By applying the Nano Coat System, you can reduce humidity in the room by even 10% and, at the same time, you can prevent heat loss so that the bathroom remains heated.

The Nano Coat System has been developed with special technology based on nanostructures. This permeable material ensures the natural breathing of the walls and enables the passage of water vapour through the structure. At the same time, it prevents the condensation of water vapours on the surface of the walls, reducing the risk of the appearance of moulds. The system creates a thermal reflective layer which reflects thermal radiation back to the room while removing excessive moisture. Its surface is antibacterial and it also absorbs odours.



Which Places Should the Material be Applied to in the Bathroom?

The system can be applied to all the walls of the bathroom, including the ceiling. Apply it also to the reveals around the windows because that is the place where heat escapes and water vapours condense, which can be prevented by the Nano Coat System. Apply the substance also to all the circumferential walls (façade, external walls) or to the places where thermal bridges are present. Another advantage of the system is its applicability to non-absorbent surfaces,
such as wall tiles, floor tiles, marble, glass etc.

Nano Coat System consists of: 

Nano PT - represents deep penetration that stabilizes the foundations. It is used for absorbent cohesive surfaces and is applied with a brush or roller.

Nano AM - it is used on all other surfaces where we can not use Nano PT. Thus, non-absorbent cohesive surfaces such as glass, iron and others. Apply with a brush or roller.

Nano TC - it is used to repair holes, cracks and small irregularities of size up to 3-4mm.

Nano Coat Home – the final layer of mass applied by a stainless comb trowel to a pre-treated, smooth surface of about 2 mm thick. After drying, grind the surface with sandpaper.


Apply in the following order: 

1. Nano PT or Nano AM,

2. Nano TC, if necessary to repair the surface,

3. final layer Nano Coat Home.
