Mold in the drying room – how to get rid of it in the corners and on the ceiling?

The source of the mold in the drying room is thermal bridges. These are places where heat penetrates from the indoor environment to the outdoor environment faster than at other building sites or structures. Thermal bridges include, for example, corners, niches and the like. 

Water vaporises at these places much more often than at other places, the temperature of these places is usually much lower, resulting in the formation of mold. Another reason for mold formation is the increased humidity produced by driers.

Protect the dryer room and clothes from the mold by eliminating thermal bridges. Use the Nano Coat System developed with a special patent-based nanoscience technology.

The material prevents water vapor condensation on the surface and reduces heat loss through thermal bridges. It creates a thermo-reflective layer that reflects heat back into the room whil removing excess dampness and humidity, thus reducing the risk of mold formation.

On which parts of the drying room should the material be applied?

Apply the Nano Coat System to places where thermal bridges are located as these are the places where the heat penetrates faster from the indoor environment to the outdoor, thus affecting mold formation. Apply the material to the ceiling and the walls that are adjacent to the exterior.

If your walls are already infested by mold, it is important first to get rid of it and repair the wall construction, and only then apply the material.

Nano Coat System consists of: 

Nano PT - represents deep penetration that stabilizes the foundations. It is used for absorbent cohesive surfaces and is applied with a brush or roller.

Nano AM - it is used on all other surfaces where we can not use Nano PT. Thus, non-absorbent cohesive surfaces such as glass, iron and others. Apply with a brush or roller.

Nano TC - it is used to repair holes, cracks and small irregularities of size up to 3-4mm.

Nano Coat Homethe final layer of mass applied by a stainless comb trowel to a pre-treated, smooth surface of about 2 mm thick. After drying, grind the surface with sandpaper.


Apply in the following order: 

 1. Nano PT or Nano AM,

2. Nano TC, if necessary to repair the surface,

3. final layer Nano Coat Home.
