Thanks to you taking this small step and your effort to dispose of this waste you can have organic fruits and vegetables anytime. I’ll never have any chemical fertilizers in my garden again!
Did you know that people had already started to compost around 12 000 years ago? So while we consider this a fairly new concept, it has been around for as long as agriculture itself! One of my small steps that helps contribute to a healthier environment includes throwing all organic waste into the compost bin located behind my house. I think, it is an extraordinary and easy way of making my surrounding cleaner. And it is so simple to do. All you need is access to composter, that is a bin where you store your waste, and follow the information on how to do it correctly. Thanks to you taking this small step and your effort to dispose of this waste you can have organic fruits and vegetables anytime. I’ll never have any chemical fertilizers in my garden again!
My small steps to the environmental protection:
- I use reusable cotton mesh bag for fruits and vegetables,
- I compost,
- I use wooden cutlery instead of plastic ones, I don’t use straws and drink coffee from my own cup which I bring to the café with me,
- I use bamboo make-up remover wipes and sanitary products that that can be reused repeatedly,
- I bring home all litter from my trips in nature home with me.
